365 Ways To Wellbeing – 38th Way

Again another home day ahead. A day when only my own family members see me. In other words “No need to invest in my look” day.

This morning I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked like this. I got depressed.

Because of these messy eyebrows…Doesn`t it look good or what?

Someone would say that messy eyebrows don`t matter if no-one can see them. That`s right – except that I SEE THEM.

Messy eyebrows got me depressed because they make me feel messy and non-attractive. And I don`t want to feel like that. I want to feel that at least I try to take care of my looks eventhough I spend most of my time with the kids at home.

So I plucked my eyebrows. I try to do that once a week. I should do it more often but once a week is a good achievement for a mother of two small children!

Every woman has some small things that make them feel tidy and fresh. For me a very important small thing is neat eyebrows.

So this day I felt myself immediately better and more beautiful after I had plucked my eyebrows!

Then I just washed my face, put my hair so that they were not disturbing. And I selected a shirt that it was easy to breastfeed.

…and again another ordinary mother`s day at home could start!
