Preserve Food By Drying

365 Ways To Wellbeing – 240th Way

There has been a constant humming sound in our home lately…

It’s again about food and how it connects to your wellbeing. By drying food you can preserve some ingredients more efficiently than by freezing them. And in the best case you save electricity too. For example some mushrooms (like funnel chantarelles or black chantarelles) retain their taste very well when you dry them. And they stay good for two years! You can also dry apple slices or even meat if you like.

Yet again a good way to take a little part of summer with you for the coming winter!
